Okay, so my class is having a debate tomorrow about gun control and I haven't gotten research or done anything I had to do in order to give a good debate and stuff. So, I started today and looked at my topic

"Any municipal gun ban is unconstitutional" (Unconstitutional to the U.S. Constitution)

(I think) it pretty much means that putting a gun bad goes against the constitution (The second amendment to be exact). The second amendment is:

"A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed."

which means that every citizen should be allowed to have a gun in their home (at least that's what our teacher tells us).

Now, since my team was supposed to be the negative side of my topic (Any municipal gun ban is unconstitutional), I'm supposed to be saying the opposite of the topic. The affirmitive sides says gun bands are unconstitutional while the negative side says it not unconstitutional. The thing is, I'm not sure where to start.

I know it kind of seems like I'm asking you to do some research for me, but this whole thing is confusing. The constitution does give every person the right to bear arms, yet I'm suppose to be saying that it doesn't go against the constitution. So I really don't know what to say. If there is anyone out there that knows how I should at least start off or anything, I'd appreciate it if you tell me cause I have no clue what to do right now.

Nevermind, I ended up finishing it. It's not that good, but anything is better than nothing, right?
